Carthage College Athletics

2011:  Named National Soccer Coaches Association of America third-team All-Central Region, NSCAA first-team All-Wisconsin, CCIW “Men’s Soccer Player of the Year” and first-team All-CCIW…played in 21-of-22 games and made 20 starts…named CCIW “defensive player of the week” on Nov. 1…scored a goal against North Central (Ill.) on Oct. 22.

2010:  Named second-team All-CCIW…played in all 20 games and made 18 starts…scored his lone goal, the game-winner, against Carroll (Wis.) on Oct. 5.

2009:  Played in 18-of-19 games and made 17 starts.

2008:  Played in 19-of-21 games and made 16 starts.

High School:  Named All-North Suburban Conference and Illinois High School Soccer Coaches Association all-sectional his senior year on a conference-championship team…his junior-year squad won both conference and regional titles…coached by Pete Ternes and Mike Schmitz…member of the basketball team his freshman and sophomore years…honor student…played for the ELA club teams.

Personal:  Double major in accounting and finance…brother of Josh Khoshbin, who lettered on the 2008 and 2009 Carthage soccer teams…named fall 2011 CCIW/Jack Swartz all-academic…named to the Carthage dean’s list five times and a four-semester member of the Carthage athletic director’s honor roll…born April 19, 1990.
