Johnny Rimkus is in his third year on staff as a Carthage College part-time assistant men’s soccer coach in 2021-22, following a four-year career as a forward with the program between 2014 and 2017. He helps coordinate the team's strength and conditioning program. As a student-athlete at Carthage, he was named first-team All-College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW), National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) third-team All-Central Region, and NSCAA third-team All-Wisconsin in 2015. In 2016, he was named first-team All-CCIW, NSCAA second-team All-Central Region and NSCAA second-team All-Wisconsin. He currently also serves as the head boy's soccer coach at Kenosha Mary D. Bradford High School.
A Kenosha, Wis. native and a Bradford High School product, Rimkus graduated in 2018 with a bachelor’s degree in athletic training, and a master's degree in leadership, both at Carthage.
