Carthage College Athletics

Phil Dodson begins his third year as a part-time assistant coach in 2014 after three years as the head coach of the University of Illinois club team. Dodson compiled a 37-13 record, and two of his three teams qualified for the Men’s Collegiate Lacrosse Association (MCLA) national tournament.  A native of Wilmette, Ill., Dodson also attended Illinois and played four years of club lacrosse for the Illini.  He was named MCLA All-America both his junior and senior years.  Dodson graduated from Illinois in 2009 with a bachelor’s in classics.
