Fleming enters his third season on David Neff's coaching staff as a graduate assistant in 2018. 

After splitting time between defenseman and goalkeeper as a freshman and sophomore, Fleming moved strictly to defenseman where he started 40 games over his final two seasons at Carthage. 

Over his last two seasons, Fleming collected 108 ground balls and forced 56 turnovers.

Fleming was also named the CCIW Player of the Week on April 27th, 2015, and was recognized as one of the inaugural All-CCIW First Team members in 2015.
