Carthage College Athletics

2013:  Played in all 10 games and started the last three games of the season…caught 31 passes for 383 yards, an average of 38.3 yards per game…starting punter most of the season and averaged 33.9 yards per kick, seventh in the CCIW…returned 16 kickoffs and averaged 22.0 yards per return, including a 76-yard return at North Park on Oct. 5.

2012:  Starting wide receiver in all 10 games…caught 32 passes for 522 yards, an average of 52.2 yards per game and ranked fifth in the CCIW…caught four touchdown passes…starting punter in all 10 games and averaged 33.8 yards per kick, including a 59-yarder in the Nov. 10 Millikin game…named CCIW “offensive player of the week” after catching five passes for 208 yards in the Sept. 29 North Park game, including a 99-yard touchdown reception that broke Carthage and Art Keller Field game records and tied a CCIW mark…ran for 10 yards on four carries..returned five kickoffs and averaged 30.6 yards per return.

2011:  Starting wide receiver in the Sept. 3 Carleton game before being shifted to quarterback…started the next three games at quarterback before breaking an ankle in the Oct. 1 North Central (Ill.) game…missed the rest of the season…rushed for 186 yards and three touchdowns on 43 carries and completed eight-of-20 passes for 91 yards.

2010:  Started all 10 games as a wide receiver…caught 21 passes for 369 yards and three touchdowns…caught seven passes for 100 yards in the season-opener versus Franklin…longest catch of 49 yards in the Oct. 2 North Central (Ill.) game.

2009:  A quarterback his freshman year but did not play.

High School:  Named Kenosha News first-team All-Kenosha County and first-team All-Southeast Conference South Division quarterback his senior year on a state quarterfinal team with 850 rushing yards, 15 rushing touchdowns, 982 passing yards and 13 touchdown passes…Kenosha News first-team all-county and first-team All-Southeast Conference quarterback as a junior, also on a state quarterfinal team, with 650 rushing yards, 13 touchdowns, 603 passing yards and eight touchdown passes…in baseball, twice named Kenosha News all-county…member of the basketball team his freshman year…2009 Holy Rosary “Outstanding Male Athlete of the Year”…four-year honor student and all-region academic in baseball his junior year.

Personal:  Double major in communication and public relations…second baseman on the 2010 Carthage baseball team…his father, Bosko Djurickovic, is the men’s basketball coach at Carthage, and his mother, Becky, is a former women’s basketball coach at North Park University and a former girls basketball coach at Kenosha Bradford High School…his brother, Steve, was a four-time first-team All-CCIW player on the 2008-11 Carthage men’s basketball teams, and his sister, Amanda, played volleyball at Carroll (Wis.) before graduating from Carthage.
