Carthage College Athletics

2011:  Started all 10 games…team’s leading receiver with 409 yards, averaging 40.9 yards per game and ranked ninth in the CCIW…caught five passes for 125 yards in the Oct. 8 Millikin game.

2010:  Named second-team All-CCIW…started all 10 games…ranked fourth in CCIW receptions (66.7 yards per game)…caught 50 passes for 667 yards and five touchdowns, including five for 127 yards in the Sept. 18 Concordia (Wis.) game.

2009:  Played in eight-of-10 games and made six starts…caught 19 passes for 202 yards, including four for 49 yards in the Oct. 17 North Central (Ill.) game,

2008:  Played in all 10 games and made one start…caught 19 passes for 250 yards, including five for 66 yards in the Nov. 1 Millikin game.

High School:  Named All-Mid-Suburban League and all-area by both the Daily Herald and the Pioneer Press his senior year…set Fremd High School records his senior year for most receptions (55) and most touchdown receptions (8)…his four teams went a combined 38-4, and both his junior and senior-year squads won conference titles and reached the Illinois High School Association Class 8A quarterfinals…coached by Mike Donatucci…three-year member of the track and field team and two years in basketball…honor student.

Personal:  Business administration major…brother of Jeff Koeneman, a four-year football wide receiver at Carthage between 2006 and 2009 and a three-time All-CCIW honoree…named to the Carthage dean’s list three times and a four-semester member of the Carthage athletic director’s honor roll…born April 30, 1990.
