2018: Missed second half of season due to injury... Appeared in 4 games... Completed 37 passes on 60 attempts for 463 yards and four touchdowns... Named to the CCIW Fall Academic All-Conference.

2017: CoSIDA Academic All-District 6 Team... Named to the Fall CCIW Academic All-Conference...appeared in and started nine games for the Red Men as a junior at quarterback... went 118-189 for 1620 yards and a 62.4% completion percentage with 14 touchdowns to just two interceptions... threw for eighth most passing yards in program history on 10/28 against Millikin University, going 25-31 for 375 yards and three touchdowns... Had three passing touchdowns against Bethel on 9/9, Carroll on 9/30 and Millikin on 10/28...Fall CCIW Jack Schwartz Academic All-Conference... Recipient of Art and Beverly Keller Football Scholar Athlete Award... Steve and Melissa Marovich Scholar Athlete of the Year.

2016:  Named to the Fall CCIW Academic All-Conference. Played in all 10 games as a sophomore at quarterback... completed 71 of 107 attempts for 965 yards, 10 touchdowns and two interceptions... second in the CCIW in passer efficiency at 169.21... season-high in attempts and completions (18-30) against North Central on 11/5... first career TD pass came at Carroll on 10/1... first career rushing TD came against North Central on 11/5... had five two passing touchdown games on the season... Recipient of the Art & Beverly Keller Football Scholar Athlete Award.

2015:  Did not appear for varsity.

High School:  Three-year letter winner for the East Kentwood High School football team coached by Tony Kimbrough… named to the 2013 and 2014 OK-Red All-Conference team senior year, helping East Kentwood to an 11-2 record, capturing 2014 conference, district and regional championships... Grand Rapids Advanced Newspaper first team as a senior and honorable mention as a junior... 2014 Detroit Free Press honorable mention all-state... set school passing yardage and touchdown records in 2012, 2013 and 2014... also played baseball and ran tack for East Kentwood.

Personal:  Finance and Accounting major... Mother, Karen Friberg, played basketball for Western Michigan University... Father, Richard Friberg, wrestled at Northern Michigan University... Grandfather coached football at East Kentwood High School for 22 years... member of the National Honor Society and honor roll with a GPA above 4.0... named all-academic team member.
