Jake is a mainstay of our offense and a mainstay of our football team…he brings a great attitude to the team, and he’s a guy who flat-out produces no matter where you play him…he’s your prototypical football player.

2009: Played in nine-of-10 games and made eight starts…rushed for 144 yards and three touchdowns on 48 carries…caught 41 passes for 341 yards and two touchdowns, including seven for 62 yards in the Oct. 17 North Central (Ill.) game.

2008: Played in eight-of-10 games and made seven starts…broke a leg in the Nov. 8 North Park game and missed the final two games of the season…rushed 94 times for 329 yards and three touchdowns…caught 42 passes for 289 yards and a touchdown…averaged 41.1 rushing yards per game and 36.1 receiving yards.

2007: Played in all 10 games at halfback…rushed for 196 yards on 71 carries.

High School: Named Illinois High School Football Coaches Class 8A All-State, Daily Herald all-area and All-Mid-Suburban League his senior year and set a school season rushing record…both his junior and senior-year teams won conference championships, and his senior-year squad advanced to the Illinois High School Association quarterfinals…coached by Mike Donatucci…three-year member of the track and field team.

Personal: Exercise and sport science major…named to the fall 2007 Carthage athletic director’s honor roll…born March 1, 1989.
