Carthage College Athletics

Larry Black Jr. enters his second season in 2016 as a graduate assistant working with the defensive tackles.

Black comes to Carthage College after spending the 2013-14 season as a free agent selection of the Cincinnati Bengals.  

A four-year starter for Indiana University, Black was selected to 2009 Sporting News freshman All-American and All-Big Ten teams.   During his career, Black registered 127 total tackles with 55 being solo, eight sacks, 27.5 tackles for loss, two fumble recoveries, four pass breakups and one blocked field goal.

A native of Cincinnati, Ohio, Larry graduated from Indiana in December of 2012 with a bachelor of science degree  in recreational sport management.
