John Rhodeback begins his second year as a Carthage College graduate assistant football coach, working with the defensive line. Rhodeback played football for NCAA Division I Kent State University. He subsequently served on the Golden Flashes coaching staff as a defensive intern coach and assistant video coordinator at Kent State University from 2016 to 2018.
Rhodeback graduated from Kent State in 2016 with a bachelor’s degree in interpersonal communication and received his master’s degree in sports administration, also from Kent State, in 2019. He is completing work on his master’s in education from Carthage, and he joined the coaching staff for the 2018 season.
