Jason Splitt

  • Title
    Offensive Graduate Assistant
Coach Jason Splitt comes from Wartburg College where he was a student football assistant. At Wartburg, Splitt has served in that role as assistant since 2021. He played an integral role in the Knights’ run to back-to-back NCAA Division III semifinals (2022-23) and three consecutive American Rivers Conference championships (2022-24). His responsibilities span multiple areas, including coordinating individual drills for defensive backs, serving as junior varsity defensive coordinator, leading scout offense meetings, and managing sideline operations for special teams and defensive signaling. He has also overseen film breakdown, developed weekly scout books, and supported offseason strength and conditioning training.

In addition to his work at Wartburg, Splitt has gained valuable experience at the high school level as a graduate assistant with Cary-Grove High School in Illinois. From 2021-24, he coached running backs, created practice plans, and implemented position-specific drills to prepare athletes for competition.

A versatile coach, Splitt is proficient with Hudl, DVSport, Just Play, and other football technology systems. His background as a collegiate baseball student-athlete at Wartburg has further strengthened his leadership skills, time management, and ability to balance athletic, academic, and coaching commitments.
