BIll Lund

Bill Lund was named to the Carthage College football staff in March of 2018 and will work with the linebackers in his first season.  This year will mark his 22nd year of coaching at the collegiate level.
 
A veteran defensive coach that has served Division I, II and III across the country, Lund joins the staff after spending last year at Lake Forest College.  Other coaching experiences include time at Division III’s Hope College, North Park University, St. Norbert College, Carleton College and Colby College, Division II’s Saginaw Valley State University and Saint Anselm College, and Division I Football Championship Subdivision’s Columbia University.
 
In 2008, Lund joined the coaching staff for the University at Buffalo Bulls of the Mid-American Conference, where he helped them to the 2008 MAC title and a trip to the International Bowl.  Additionally, while at Buffalo, he was involved in the coaching and recruitment and coaching of the 2016 NFL Defensive Player of the Year, Khalil Mack.
 
A graduate of MWC member Lawrence University, Lund was a four-year player and All-MWC selection for the Vikings. Ten years later he earned a master's degree from United States Sports Academy in Daphne, Alabama.
