Carthage College Athletics

Akeem Needum joined the Carthage College Football coaching staff in August of 2015, and currently serves as the running backs coach and a graduate assistant coach.
 
Akeem comes from Tiffin University (NCAA DII) in Ohio after playing four years as a strong safety for the Dragons and starting on special teams.  He earned three straight varsity letters while serving as a Defensive captain in his senior year.
 
A native from Columbus, OH, Akeem graduated in May of 2015 with a Bachelor’s of Business Administration in Sports Management.  He is also earning his Master of Education degree here at Carthage College.
