High School:  Four-year football player at Indian Trail High School and Academy under head coach Mike McKay... two-time team defensive MVP... All-South East Conference Honorable Mention as a sophomore... second team All-South East Conference as a junior... first team All-South East Conference as a senior... also played varsity basketball... member of the Honor Roll.

Personal:  Undecided on major... son of John and Tricia Roach... brother Michael Roach plays football at Wofford College.
