2011: Named American Baseball Coaches Association second-team All-America, ABCA first-team All-Central Region, CCIW “Co-Player of the Year” and first-team All-CCIW with a .422 batting average, 17 doubles, eight home runs, 44 RBI and seven stolen bases…started all 44 games in centerfield…named CCIW “player of the week” on April 5 and again on May 3…had 19 multiple-hit games and 12 multiple-RBI games…drove in six runs in the Millikin nightcap on April 30…named to the all-tournament team at the NCAA Division III Central Region Championship.
2010: Named American Baseball Coaches Association second-team All-Central Region and first-team All-CCIW…started all 47 games in centerfield…batted .356 with 16 doubles, three triples, a team-leading nine home runs, a team-high 60 RBI, and 11 stolen bases in 14 attempts…had 19 multiple-hit games, including a five-for-five game at Lakeland on May 5…had a team-high 17 multiple-RBI games, including six RBI versus Illinois Wesleyan on April 11…named CCIW “player of the week” on April 6.
2009: Named second-team All-CCIW with a .346 batting average, seven doubles, three triples, five home runs, 44 RBI and 15 stolen bases in 17 attempts…played in 46-of-47 games and made 43 starts in centerfield.
2008: Played in 37-of-46 games and made 21 starts, seven in centerfield, five in leftfield and nine as the designated hitter…batted .221 with five doubles, two triples, four home runs and 20 RBI…hit a home run at Miller Huggins Field in St. Petersburg, Fla., a former New York Yankees spring training site, that cleared the 435-foot mark in right-center field.
High School: Named honorable mention All-DuPage Valley Conference his sophomore year on a regional-championship team at West Aurora High School and led the team in batting (.477), on-base percentage (.574) and slugging percentage (school-record 1.023)…his freshman-year team at Aurora West won a conference title…transferred to Naperville North High School for his junior season, ranked third in DuPage County batting with a .500 average and played on a regional-championship team…coached by Carl Hunckler…transferred back to Aurora West High School for his senior year and coached by John Reeves…in football, named honorable mention all-conference as a sophomore at Aurora West.
Personal: Business administration major…his younger brother, Martin Hodges, is a defensive back on the Carthage football team…born Jan. 14, 1989.
