Biography

2010: Went 4-3 with one save and a 6.18 earned run average in a team-leading 14 appearances and seven starts…collected his only save against Augustana (Ill.) on April 26.

2009: Appeared in 11 games and made four starts…made his first-ever varsity appearance on March 15 with a 13-2 win over Lakeland in North Port, Fla.…went 4-0 with one save and a 2.97 earned run average…collected his only save with a three-inning relief appearance in a 7-2 win over Lakeland on April 22.

2008
: Underwent “Tommy John” elbow surgery in August 2007 and did not play in 2008.

2007
: Suffered an elbow injury during indoor practice and missed the entire season.

High School
: Four-year member of the baseball team and coached by Joe Kish…in football, named honorable mention all-state, All-DuPage Valley Conference and Daily Herald all-area his senior year on a 12-1 team that won a league title en route to an Illinois High School Association Class 8A semifinal finish.

Personal: Double major in business administration and marketing…quarterback on the 2006 Carthage football team…named a 2009-10 CCIW Merle Chapman Leadership Award winner…named to the spring 2010 Carthage dean’s list and to the spring 2010 Carthage athletic director’s honor roll…born Feb. 12, 1988.
