Carthage College Athletics

2014:  Played in 18 games and made seven starts, six at first base and one as a designated hitter…batted .242 with four doubles in 33 at bats.

2013:  Played in 33-of-40 games and made 23 starts, 10 at first base and 13 as the designated hitter…batted .271 with seven doubles, one triple and one home run.

2012:  Played in 13 games and made four starts, three at first base and one as the designated hitter…batted .150 in 20 at bats…made the final plate appearance at the Carthage Baseball Field in the second game of the May 5 Wheaton (Ill.) doubleheader, prior to the summer 2012 renovation project that transformed the facility into Augie Schmidt Field.

2011:  Attended Carthage but did not participate in baseball.

High School:  Named first-team All-Midwest Classic Conference his senior year and set school season records for base hits, doubles, home runs, RBI and slugging percentage…all four of his teams won regional championships…coached by Bob Malwitz…also a member of the basketball team…honor student.

Personal:  Double major in management and marketing…named to the Carthage dean's list twice.
