Biography

2020:  Appeared in three games as a pinch-hitter or a defensive replacement.
 
2019:  Played in 40 games and made 37 starts, including 31 games in left field … batted .290 (42-of-145) with 29 runs scored, eight doubles, two triples, two home runs and 26 runs batted in … went four-for-five with two doubles and four RBIs in a 11-2 victory over Lakeland on April 9.

2018:  Played in eight games and batted .364 in 11 at bats.

2017:  Saw no varsity game action.

High School:  Named second-team all-area and All-Suburban Prairie Red Conference both his junior and senior seasons … His 2016 team won a regional title … coached by Matt Holm … four-year member of the football team and played on a 2013 state-championship squad.
 
Personal:  Exercise and sport science major … son of Pete and Jan Beckmann.
