Carthage College Athletics

2021:  Started all 41 games, 26 at second base, eight at shortstop and seven at third base … batted .286 (46-for-161) with 12 doubles, three home runs and 29 RBI … had 13 multiple-hit games, including nine two-hit games and four three-hit games.
 
2020:  Started five games at second base … collected eight hits in 16 at bats with seven runs scored.

2019:  Played in 36 games and made 33 starts, including 25 at third base, one at third base and seven as the designated hitter … batted .358 (49-for-137) with eight doubles, one triple, 23 RBI and three stolen bases.

2018:  Played in 13 games and made four starts at third base … got his first career hit against Illinois Wesleyan on May 22.

High School:  Four-year letterwinner at Aurora Central Catholic High School under head coach Sean Bieterman … two-time All-Suburban Christian Conference honoree, Aurora Beacon-News all-area Team and team MVP … also a four-year letter winner in football and named both all-state and all-area.
 
Personal:  Criminal justice major … son of John and Ann Belskis … His father played football and baseball at Valparaiso University, was inducted into that school’s athletic hall of fame, served as the head football coach at Downers Grove South High School for 20 years and was inducted into the Illinois High School Association Coaches Hall of Fame.
