Biography

2025: Appeared in 20 games throughout the 2025 season... pitching 22.2 innings, serving nine walks, 40 strikeouts, with 92 batters faced and 284 thrown pitches... Named CSC Academic All-District, All-Region Eight Third Team, and ABCA/Rawlings All-Region honors. 

2024: Appeared in seven games and started four on the mound ... Tallied a 8.62 ERA with 17 strikeouts over 15.2 innings of work. 

2023: Appeared in 15 games on the mound and started 1 ... Registered a 2.30 ERA, striking out 51 batters in 31.1 innings.

2022:  Made a team-leading 12 pitching appearances, including two starts … compiled a 3-1 record with a 6.44 earned run average over 29.3 innings.

High School:  coached by Andy Deain at Crystal Lake Central High School … played for the SCA Select club team and coach Steve Starcher … National Honor Society member, Spanish National Honor Society member and high honors student.
 
Personal:  Biology major … son of Jake and Kari Hartman.
