Scott Roehl begins his third year as a part-time assistant coach in 2013. A native of Somers, Wis., who attended Shoreland Lutheran High School, Roehl pitched for the University of Arkansas from 2001 to 2003 and threw a no-hitter versus Kansas State his freshman year.

He was selected by the Cleveland Indians in the 10th round of the 2003 Major League Baseball draft. Roehl pitched in the Indians’ farm system for seven seasons, rising as high as the Triple A Columbus Clippers in 2009 and making two spring-training appearances that season for the Indians. In 2010, he played for the Northern League Rockford RiverHawks. Roehl is completing work on his bachelor’s in exercise and sport science at Carthage. He served as the pitching coach for the Rockford RiverHawks for the 2011 season.
