    Part-Time Assistant Baseball Coach
Johnny Meier begins his second year as a part-time assistant coach in 2010 after two seasons as a graduate assistant coach.  Meier had a four-year playing career as the Red Men’s center fielder between 2002 and 2005.  A native of West Allis, Wis., he was named first-team All-CCIW in both 2004 and 2005, as well as American Baseball Coaches Association third-team All-Central Region in 2005.  Meier also played on the 2002 and 2003 Carthage men’s basketball teams.  He graduated from Carthage in 2005 with a bachelor’s in business administration and marketing and is currently completing work on his teaching certificate at Carthage.
