2009: Injured and missed the entire season.
2008: Injured his shoulder pitching against Millikin on April 5 and missed the rest of the season…underwent shoulder surgery, granted a medical red-shirt and will return for the 2010 season…went 4-0 with a 2.77 earned run average in 26.0 innings pitched.
2007: Named American Baseball Coaches Association second-team All-Central Region and first-team All-CCIW…appeared in 12 games, all in starting assignments, and went 7-2 with a 2.81 earned run average, six complete games, 9.00 strikeouts per nine innings and 3.15 walks per nine innings…opponents batted .267 against him…named to the Central Regional all-tournament team…went 6-3 with a 2.77 earned run average for the summer 2007 Green Bay Bullfrogs in the Northern League.
2006: Appeared in eight games, all in starting assignments…compiled a 4-1 record with a 2.81 earned run average and 40 strikeouts in 41.6 innings pitched.
2005: Made two pitching appearances.
High School: Named first-team All-Olympian Conference his senior year and played in the 2004 Wisconsin Baseball Coaches Association all-star game…second-team all-conference as a junior and honorable mention his sophomore year…both his junior and senior-year teams advanced to the regional final…coached by Greg Shepard…named American Legion “pitcher of the year” in both 2002 and 2003…in football, named first-team all-conference and first-team All-Manitowoc County as a wide receiver his senior year and honorable mention all-conference as a kicker…four-year member of the basketball team and named all-conference as a junior…four-year honor student and graduated with honors.
Personal: Exercise and sport science major…wide receiver on the 2004 and 2005 Carthage football teams…his cousin Carthage Athletic Hall of Famer Glen Braun, played baseball at Carthage between 1996 and 1999, was named first-team All-CCIW twice and named American Baseball Coaches Association “Player of the Year” in 1999…named to the fall 2007 Carthage dean’s list and a three-semester member of the Carthage athletic director’s honor roll…born May 20, 1986.
