Biography

2020:  Did not appear in Carthage’s abbreviated, five-game season due to a wrist injury.
 
2019:  "D3baseball.com" honorable mention All-America ..."D3baseball.com" and American Baseball Coaches Association first-team All-Central Region … first-team All-CCIW ... started all 40 games, 36 at first base ... batted .413 (66-for-160), third in the CCIW, with a league-leading 18 doubles, along with two triples, five home runs, 52 RBI, a league-leading .644 slugging percentage and a .586 on-base percentage ... hit two home runs in a game on two occasions ... knocked in a career-high eight runs against North Park on March 27.

2018:  Played in all 43 games and made forty-two starts at first base ... batted .345 in 165 at bats with nine doubles, three triples, two home runs and 34 RBI.

2017:  Played in 10-of-38 games and made two starts at first base ... batted .231 with a double in 13 at bats.

High School:  Named All-Southwest Prairie Conference his junior year … three-year letter winner and coached by Matthew Engelhardt … played basketball as a freshman and football as a sophomore … Honor student.

Personal:   Double major in management and marketing … son of Mike and Misti Schwartz.
