Carthage College Athletics

2016:  Named first-team All-CCIW for the second-straight year…started all 41 games, 27 at first base and 14 as a designated hitter…batted .327 with 17 doubles, three home runs and 43 RBI…finished the season on a 16-game hitting streak…made 10 pitching appearances, all starts, and went 5-1 with a 4.03 earned run average, a team-leading three complete games and one shutout in a team-high 60.3 innings...Awarded the Bob Lee Career Athlete Award

2015:  Named “D3baseball.com” third-team All-America, first-team All-Central Region by both the American Baseball Coaches Association and “D3baseball.com”, as well as the CCIW “Baseball Player of the Year” and first-team all-conference…Named Augie Schmidt III Most Valuable Performer and Frank Falduto Athlete of the Year Award...started all 45 games, 32 at first base and 13 as a designated hitter…batted .354 with 11 doubles, six home runs and 33 RBI…set a Carthage season record with a 30-game hitting streak to start the season…compiled a 4-1 pitching mark with a 2.21 earned run average over nine starts and 61.0 innings…opponents batted just .234 against him.

2013-14:  Attended the College of Lake County his freshman and sophomore years and played baseball…went 2-1 with a 3.00 earned run average in 2013.

High School:  Named Chicago Tribune honorable mention all-state, first-team All-North Suburban Conference and Daily Herald all-area his senior year on a team that finished third at the Illinois High School Association Class 4A state championship…set both career and season records for most wins…coached by Dave Behm…four-year member of the basketball team and named Illinois High School Basketball Coaches Association honorable mention all-state, first-team all-conference and all-area his senior year…honor student.

Personal:  Finance major…played for the Northwoods League Wisconsin Woodchucks in the summer of 2015.
