Biography

2012:  Started all 38 games in centerfield…the Red Men's leading hitter with a .344 batting average, eight doubles, six triples, two home runs, 33 RBI and 16-of-21 stolen bases…had a team-leading 17 multiple-hit games, including seven three-hit games…put together a 10-game hitting streak over Carthage's final 10 games…drove in two or more runs on 10 occasions.

2011:  Played in 27-of-42 games and made 17 starts at second base…batted .281 in 57 at bats.

2010:  Played in 44-of-47 games and made 42 starts, 23 at shortstop and 19 at second base…batted .295 with 11 doubles, two triples, 25 RBI and six stolen bases…had 15 multiple-hit games, including four hits against Elmhurst on April 2.

2009:  Played in 42-of-47 games and made 33 starts at second base…batted .338 with seven doubles, 14 RBI and 13 stolen bases in 14 attempts…compiled a 24-game hitting, third-longest in Carthage history, between April 11 and May 24…the hitting streak was snapped in a 3-1 loss to eventual-champion St. Thomas (Minn.) in the semifinals of the NCAA Division III Baseball Championship…hit his first collegiate home run versus Elmhurst on May 2.

High School:  Named first-team All-Midwest Classic Conference and Kenosha News first-team All-Kenosha County his senior year with a .494 batting average, a .573 on-base percentage, an .878 slugging percentage and  18 stolen bases…named first-team All-Midwest Classic Conference, Kenosha News first-team All-Kenosha County and first-team all-district his junior year with a .473 batting average and a school-record .840 slugging percentage…honorable mention all-conference and second-team all-county as a sophomore…both his sophomore and junior-year teams won conference championships…coached by Tim Mielke…three-year member of the soccer team and played on a 2007 squad that won a Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association Division 3 state championship…three-year member of the basketball team…National Honor Society member and honor student.

Personal:  Exercise and sport science major…younger brother of part-time assistant coach Jason Eickmeyer, who lettered on the 2004 and 2005 Carthage baseball teams…named to the spring 2010 Carthage athletic director’s honor roll…born Dec. 27, 1989.
