Carthage College Athletics

2014:  Compiled a 3-3 record with a 4.09 earned run average in nine pitching appearances, all starts…averaged 8.51 strikeouts per nine innings.

2013:  Went 1-2 with a 6.75 earned run average in eight pitching appearances, all starts…named CCIW “pitcher of the week” after throwing a no-hitter in a 4-0 win over Lakeland on April 16 at Augie Schmidt Field.

2012:  Compiled a 1-2 pitching record with one save and a 4.76 earned run average over 34.0 innings and seven games…made 24 starts as the designated hitter and batted ..301 with two home runs and 18 RBI.

2011:  Made four pitching appearances, including a start against Wheaton (Ill.) on April 13, and compiled a 1-0 record with one save and a 0.00 earned run average over 9.0 innings…collected a save versus Utica on March 16…played in eight games on the field and made three starts, two at first base and one as the designated hitter.

High School:  Named All-DuPage Valley Conference and Daily Herald all-area his senior year on a team that qualified for the regionals…coached by Carl Hunckler…four-year member of the football team…honor student.

Personal:  Accounting major…his brother, Nate Arenson, pitched at North Central College, was named first-team All-CCIW and American Baseball Coaches Association second-team All-Central Region in 2010 and second-team all-conference in 2011.
