Carthage College Athletics

2012:  Played in 37-of-38 games and made 35 starts at first base…batted .265 seven doubles, two triples, two home runs, 22 RBI and five stolen bases.

2011:  Named first-team All-CCIW with .351 batting average, 10 doubles, three home runs and 36 RBI…played in 43-of-44 games and made 43 starts, 35 at first base, three at second base and five as the designated hitter…had a team-leading 20 multiple-hit games, including seven three-hit games…compiled a 12-game hitting streak between April 23 and May 8…drove in five runs in the Elmhurst nightcap on April 2.

2010:  Named American Baseball Coaches Association second-team All-Central Region and first-team All-CCIW…started all 47 games, 46 at first base and one game at second base…led the regulars in batting with a .400 average, along with a team-leading 18 doubles, two triples, six home runs and 52 RBI…had a team-high 28 multiple-hit games, including two four-hit games and eight three-hit games…put together a 16-game hitting streak a 12-game hitting streak between April 2 and April 18…had 16 multiple-RBI games, including five against Elmhurst on April 2.

2009:  Played in 13 games and made three starts as the designated hitter…batted .143 in 14 at bats.

High School:  Named All-North Suburban League both his junior and senior years…coached by Jim Schurr…three-year member of both the basketball and golf teams…National Honor Society member and honor student.

Personal:  Double major in business administration and exercise and sport science…a three-semester member of the Carthage athletic director’s honor roll…born May 8, 1989.
