Biography
2012: Went 12-22, mostly at No. 4 singles…teamed with Conor Moon to go 10-20 at No. 3 doubles…overall doubles mark 11-22.
2011: Compiled a 7-9 record at No. 4 singles…defeated Andy Wall at No. 4 singles, 2-6, 6-3, 6-4, in the Red Men’s win over Augustana (Ill.) in the title match of the CCIW Men’s Tennis Championship…named the co-MVP of the league championship…had a combined 2-5 doubles record with four different partners.
2010: Went 12-11 at No. 5 and No. 6 singles…overall doubles record of 2-3.
2009: Compiled a 15-12 mark at No. 5 and No. 6 singles…teamed with Andy Schwenke to go 5-7 at No. 3 doubles with an overall doubles mark of 9-11.
High School: A three-time All-Southwestern Conference honoree and a three-time all-metro St. Louis pick…his senior-year team won a sectional championship, and his sophomore-year squad won a conference title…coached by Andy Brunner
Personal: Criminal justice major…his father, Scott McLean, played tennis at the University of Kansas…a two-semester member of the Carthage athletic director’s honor roll…born Aug. 10, 1989.
