Carthage College Athletics

2011:  Named American Volleyball Coaches Association third-team All-America and first-team All-Midwest Region, first-team All-CCIW for the second-straight year, all-tournament at the NCAA regional and the MVP of the CCIW Women’s Volleyball Tournament…played in all 41 matches…averaged 2.83 kills per set with a .204 attack percentage, 0.23 service aces per set, 3.71 digs per set and 0.46 blocks per set…collected 10 or more kills in 23 matches with a season-high 19 kills in both the Sept. 17 Trinity (Texas) match and the Nov. 5 Elmhurst contest in the title match of the CCIW Women’s Volleyball Tournament.

2010:  Named American Volleyball Coaches Association third-team All-America, first-team All-Midwest Region and first-team All-CCIW with a .209 attack percentage, 2.71 kills per set (6th in the CCIW), a team-leading 46 service aces (10th in the CCIW) and a team-leading 3.31 digs per set…played in all 39 matches…collected 10 or more kills in 20-of-39 matches, including a season high of 19 in the Oct. 29 Heidelberg match…hit .550 (12-1-20) against Marietta on Sept. 17…totaled a season-high seven blocks (1 solo, 6 assisted) in the Sept. 11 St. Olaf contest.

2009:  Named honorable mention All-CCIW…played in all 39 matches…compiled a .219 attack percentage and averaged 2.98 kills per set with a team-leading 42 service aces…collected 10 or more kills in 18 matches with a career-high 19 kills against Luther on Oct. 17 at the at the Wisconsin-Oshkosh “Titan Tussle.”…named to the all-tournament teams at the Pomona-Pitzer “Pacific Coast Classic,” the Simpson Tournament and the Wisconsin-Oshkosh “Titan Tussle.”

2008:  Named second-team All-CCIW with a .208 attack percentage and 2.17 kills per game…played in 34-of-37 matches…collected 10 or more kills on 10 occasions, including a season-high 12 kills on four occasions.

High School:  Named Champaign News-Gazette honorable mention all-state her senior year…named All-Mid-Suburban League three-straight years, MSL East “Player of the Year” in 2007 and a three-time Daily Herald all-area pick…played on three regional-championship teams…her freshman-year team advanced to the Illinois High School Association “elite eight”…her sophomore-year squad won a league title…coached by Nancy Lill…two-year member of the track and field team…National Honor Society member, Foreign Language Honor Society member and high honors student.

Personal:  Social science major…named fall 2011 CCIW/Jack Swartz all-academic…named to the Carthage dean’s list seven times and a four-semester member of the Carthage athletic director’s honor roll…born March 12, 1990.
