Spring 2021: Played in both contests for Carthage in their shortened season . . . Recorded 2 total tackles for the season, one against North Park on April 2nd and the other against Millikin on April 17th.

2019: Played in eight games for Carthage as a freshman ... Finished the season with 28 total tackles, one tackle for a loss, one interception, and three pass breakups ... Intercepted his first pass of his collegiate career against Washington on September 28 ... Finished with a career-best nine total tackles against Augustana on November 16.

High School: Four-year letter winner for the Gaither High School football team under head coach Kirk Karsen ... Named defensive MVP junior and senior year ... Also member of track & field team junior and senior year.

Personal: Son of Jessica Steponik and Jorge Lomeli ... Plans to major in athletic training.
