NORMAL, Ill. — The Carthage College women's golf team finished tied for 12th at the Wesleyan Fall Tourney on Saturday and Sunday at Ironwood Golf Course. The Firebirds carded a two-round team score of 642, shooting a 324 in the opening round before improving to a 318 in the second round. Carthage finished tied with North Central (Ill.) in the 20-team field.

Lexi Manteufel led the Firebirds, finishing tied for seventh with a two-round score of 149 after rounds of 73 and 76. Ro Longden followed with a 156, recording rounds of 79 and 77 to finish tied for 28th.
Mae Norman finished tied for 70th with a 166 after rounds of 84 and 82. Emily Tralewski carded a 173 with rounds of 90 and 83 to finish tied for a score of 101. Nina Mayfield finished with a 175 after rounds of 88 and 87, tying for 106th. Alyssa Nenoff rounded out the Carthage lineup with a 176, shooting 91 in the first round and 85 in the second.
Carthage also had two individuals compete in the tournament. Lauren Howe finished 91st with a two-round score of 170 after rounds of 83 and 87, while Autumn Burnett finished 105th with a 174 after rounds of 89 and 85.
