"Good CCIW win on the road!" said Head Coach Leanne Ulmer. "Tina [Manojlovic] had some great service runs that helped us get some separation in sets 1 and 3. Set 2 was back and forth but we had a timely block from Emma [Crow] and Hailey [Wierzgac] to pull it out. Macy [Wente] and Hailey were efficient on offense tonight and Tina led us in kills. Mina Reichert also came in clutch on the defensive end and in serve receive tonight. Always a tough mid week trip against a solid Augie team. Back at it get ready for our home match with a top 5 team in the country on Saturday!"
Carthage returns to action Saturday, Oct. 3, when the Firebirds host No. 3 Wis-Eau Claire at 1 p.m. in Tarble Arena. For more information, visit athletics.carthage.edu.
