DE PERE — The Carthage men's soccer team came up just short Sunday afternoon, falling 2-1 on the road to St. Norbert at Schneider Stadium. After a scoreless first half, the Firebirds equalized midway through the second, but the Green Knights found the winner in the closing minutes to seal the result.

- After the break, St. Norbert broke through in the 67th minute, converting from the penalty shot to take a 1-0 lead.
