"We made it hard for ourselves by conceding the first goal so early, and that set the tone for the first half. We had moments in the second half when we were able to play and show our quality, but we need to create more of those moments. Playing such a strong team like Chicago will help us prepare and bring intensity into our upcoming CCIW games."
- The Firebirds return home facing Illinois Wesleyan at 7 p.m. on Saturday, October 4.
