"With the depth we have, it is great to be able to play in quality varsity tournaments with our second team leading the way.
Ethan is itching to crack the top five, so to make sure we notice, he goes out and wins the medalist honors. I couldn't be happier for him as he works very hard at his game, he is a fantastic teammate, he exemplifies the phrase student/athlete, and suddenly he is pushing everyone else to get better as he gets better.
With our top group serving as my assistants today, our team grew in a lot of different ways. We grabbed both second and third in a tournament with some nice competition to boost some confidence, we hosted on a great course that everyone loves to play because it challenges on each and every hole, we found out lots and lots of areas where we need to focus our practices, and we spent a great day of competition while really enjoying being part of an awesome bunch of teammates."
- Following two JV only tournaments, the Firebirds will be in action at the Forester Spring Invite starting Friday, April 18 at Countryside Golf Club.
