ST. PAUL - The Carthage College women's water polo team returned to action in St. paul, Minn. Saturday Feb. 15 and Sunday Feb. 16. On day one Carthage took on Caltech and Virginia Military Institute. Day two brought matchups between the Firebirds and the Ottawa Arizona Spirit and the Augustana Vikings.

Game One
- Three Firebirds scored in the first period. Morrigan Bushroe, Xiomara Trejo, and Grace Steinberg all scored with 6:28, 3:36, and 1:41 on the clock.
- In the second, Abigail Karpluk scored with 5:42 on the clock. With two seconds left, Bushroe added to her goals (2).
- The Firebirds scored five goals in the third period. Trejo, Steinberg, Faith Harris, Sarah Lowery, and Karpluk led the Firebirds in goals.
- In the fourth, Trejo scored at 7:21. Steinberg added to her goals, scoring at 5:44 and 4:48.
- The Firebirds took 12 shots and recorded 12 points with 12 exclusions.
Game Two
- In the first period, Yamila Areizaga opened up the score for the Firebirds scoring at 6:01. Karpluk added to the Firebirds goals at 3:42 on the clock.
- The Firebirds scored four goals in the second period. Trejo collected two, Bushroe one, and Brenna Carstens scored one.
- The Firebirds scored two goals in the third. Carstens scored at 7:41 and Bushroe at 3:56 on the clock.
- In the Fourth, the Firebirds scored five goals back to back. Bushroe led the Firebirds in the fourth with three. Steinberg scored at 1:40 and with one second left of play, Areizaga collected a goal.
- The Firebirds took 13 shots and recorded 13 points with seven exclusions.
Game Three
- In the first period, the Firebirds scored three goals. Bushroe and Areizaga led the Firebirds with one and two goals.
- Four goals were scored in the second by the Firebirds. Bushroe and Trejo both scored at 6:47 and 5:42 left of play. Areizaga had back to back goals at 2:49 and 2:24.
- Three goals were scored in the third. Karpluk and Areizaga scored at 5:59 and 5:02. With 51 seconds left, Carstens scored to close out the third period.
- In the fourth period, the Firebirds scored two goals. Areizaga and Lowery scored back to back at 3:45 and 3:12 for the Firebirds.
- The Firebirds took 12 shots and recorded 12 points with five exclusions
Game Four
- In the first period, with 51 seconds left on the clock Steinberg put up one goal for the Firebirds.
- Karpluk scored at 1:07 for the Firebirds in the second period.
- In the fourth period, the Firebirds had two goals scored by Karpluk and Aubrey Korzyniewski.
- The Firebirds took four shots and recorded four points with nine exclusions.
- The Firebirds recorded 41 shots on the weekend over four games.
- Over four games the Firebirds collected 33 exclusions.
