  • Carthage battled throughout the half, with Johnson scoring on a fast-break layup to trim the deficit to 25-24.

Coachs Remarks

"Tough night for us against a really good North Park team. We handled their pressure well and only turned the ball over 10 times in the game, but unfortunately turned the ball over in some important moments in the last few minutes.

Defensively, we just didn't have it tonight. We won't win many games this year if we give up 93 points. They spaced us out well and were able to get to the FT line 32 times which is way too many!

Back to work Monday and need to prepare for a Carroll team we just played 2 weeks ago! Need to bounce back!"

Team Results
  • Carthage returns to action next week, looking to bounce back in conference play against Carroll (Wis.) on Wednesday, February 5 at 7 p.m.
