KENOSHA — In nonconference action, the Carthage College men's basketball team defeated Olivet at home on Friday afternoon, 92-82, for their sixth win of the season. 

• Final Score: Carthage 92 - Olivet 82
• Location: Tarble Arena – Kenosha, Wis.
• Records: Carthage 6-4, Olivet 2-6

• Midway through the first half, buckets from Riley Brooks and Jabe Haith gave Carthage a 10-point lead at 22-12. 
• Olivet narrowed the gap to two just two minutes later, but Jalen Brown responded with a three-pointer, and two free throws from AJ Williams extended Carthage's lead back to seven. 
• After an Olivet dunk to pull within three, Carthage finished the half strong with a 14-4 run, capped off by a three-pointer from Brooks, ending the half with Carthage ahead 46-33.
• In the second half, Chris Schlesinger increased the margin to 21 points with a layup at the 16:26 mark. 
• Later, a three-pointer from AJ Johnson and a dunk from Ryan Johnson pushed the score to 63-44. 
• Griffin Daun added a layup, giving the Firebirds their largest lead of the half with just over nine minutes remaining. 
• Despite the visitors cutting the advantage to 10 late in the game, Carthage ultimately secured the victory.

• Riley Brooks led all scorers with 31 points, going 10-of-17 from the field.
• AJ Johnson chipped in with 17 points while Ryan Johnson had 16 points and grabbed eight rebounds. 
• AJ Williams recorded 10 points while Griffin Daun had AJ Johnson tallied four and six assists, respectively.
