KENOSHA – The Carthage College women's soccer team hosted North Park on Wednesday evening to close out regular season play for the 2025 campaign. The Firebirds powered to a crucial 1–0 victory, igniting Art Keller Field and pushing themselves one step closer in the CCIW race. With the win, Carthage clinches the No. 3 seed—their highest since 2013—and earns the right to host a conference tournament match for the first time since 2015. It also marks the first time the Firebirds have hosted a postseason match since the CCIW expanded to nine teams, adding extra excitement to the milestone performance.
