Coachs Remarks
"Wow. What a match. It felt like April with the play on both sides of the net and the energy in the crowd. I'm so thankful we have had so many parents make the trip as well as for the energy form the Santa Cruz fans. That type of volleyball is so much fun.

What a team win. We had production in every area. Zack Noland was incredible today with his defense and leadership in serve receive. Ruben Emmerich and Joe Kolwicz were bringing the fire off the bench for us to keep us moving forward. Ryan Morey and Ben Heise were a force all match with the offensive consistency they helped lead.

The last play signifies how impressive this group is. Jack McDonald puts out a perfect jump serve. Owen Hendricks, Joe Kolwicz and Ryan Cholewinski scramble to dig and send over the ball. Then Ryan Cholewinski makes an incredible stuff block move to win the match. It took everyone and everything we had. But this group is willing to put egos away and put out everything they have on defense to win.

Time to turn it around and compete against the reigning National Champions in Cal Lu tomorrow. Excited for the opportunity to compete with this group one more time on this trip!"
