Coachs Remarks

"The guys fought hard today.  And I am proud of that. The offense really stepped up with a much better second half.  Needed to put a couple more of those doorstep looks away, though.  We also got baited into shooting on the ten-man too often, and it cost us some settled possessions and put more pressure on the defense.

Our settled defense was decent, but we made way too many mental and stick mistakes in our clearing games, and that, with their early offense, was the biggest difference in the game.  Stats don't have it, but I am pretty certain they had 3 or 4 goals out of their poles.

We still have a lot of room to grow and a lot of correctable mistakes that can help us be more successful as a team and program. We have two CCIW games next week and need to learn from these first two so we can get better results."
