Coachs Remarks

"We came out very flat in warm-up and pregame, and that lack of focus and energy carried over to the first twenty minutes of the game. We finally found some rhythm in the second and carried most of that for the rest of the way. We have to learn from this and continue to clean up the turnovers. Our goalie play was again outstanding today, and Diego Smilanich and Josh Flores have been playing great close defense early in the year. The face-off guys and wings were also great today, and that really helped fuel our runs in the second half."

Up Next
  • The Firebirds will head to Memphis, Tenn. for a single contest against Rhodes on Wednesday, March 6 at 6 p.m.
