"Stevens showed why they are defending national champions today. They were consistent in their level of play throughout the match and kept the pressure on us. We competed today but made too many errors throughout the match and need to give more effort on the defensive side of the ball to earn a win.
I thought
Owen Otto and
Mitch Geiger did a great job offensively today from the OH position. We are a tough team to slow down if we can get their Bic attack going.
I was incredibly proud of the leadership from
Ryan Cholewinski and
Gene McNulty today. They were the primary drivers of our energy and mental focus. If we can rally with that kind of intensity throughout the season, we will have more success down the road.
Excited to go to battle tomorrow. We will continue to improve."
- Carthage wraps up their trip playing Mount Union on Saturday, February 3, at 11 a.m. EST.
