Coachs Remarks

"Not exactly the start we were looking for, but super proud of the fight in our guys to battle back and get a tough road win! Augustana is an excellent offensive basketball team that runs their offense efficiently and we didn't do a great job with it in the first half. In the 2nd half, we really stepped up across the board and held Augustana to 26% from the floor.

I thought AJ Williams and Griffin Daun did an excellent job in the 2nd half on both ends. They anchored us defensively and allowed us to make our big run getting out in transition.

Road wins are never easy in the CCIW, and we couldn't be happier to be 2-0 after starting off at Illinois Wesleyan and Augustana. Have two more tough opponents to wrap up our non-conference slate in Nashville next week. It's on us to build off this and continue to get better every day!"
