Firebirds Sweep Wheaton Thunder at Home

KENOSHA - The Carthage College men's swimming and diving team competed against the Wheaton College Thunder for a conference matchup Saturday afternoon.

Taydin Murphy scored a 239.10 in the one meter dive for a first place finish.

The Firebirds team of Conner Hwang, Jacob Hardt, Christian Snyder, and Logan Dales took the gold in the 200 yard medley relay with a time of 1:36.16.

In the 200 yard freestyle, Ben Keller swam 1:49.13 for a first place finish.

Tyler Wojdyla tied for first in the 100 yard backstroke in a time of 53.28.

Snyder placed first in the 200 yard butterfly with 1:56.73.

Dales took the gold in the 50 yard freestyle with a time of 21.92.

Murphy added to his first place finishes for the day in the three meter dive with a score of 225.15.

Snyder added to his first place finishes for the day in the 100 yard butterfly with a time of 50.54.

Paul Busse took the gold in the 200 yard IM in 2:00.34.

The Firebirds team of Snyder, Matija Simic, William Murray, and Dales placed first in the 200 yard freestyle relay with a time of 1:26.24.
