KENOSHA - The Carthage College women's soccer team hosted the Carroll Pioneers on Wednesday evening. The Pioneers led the first half scoring one goal on the Firebird's defense. Opening the second half, the Pioneers extended their lead in the 55th minute. The Firebirds answered back with a goal scored in the 63rd minute. The Pioneers scored in the 68th minute forcing their lead to 3-1. The Firebirds added to their score in the 77th minute, forging towards the Pioneers lead. The Pioneers scored two more goals in the remaining time of the second half to steal the win from the Firebirds, forcing the final score to 5-2.
