KENOSHA - The Carthage College women's soccer team returned back home, for a conference matchup against the Augustana Vikings Wednesday evening. Both sides came to play on defense, resulting in a scoreless first half. The Vikings opened the second half with a goal scored in the 56th minute. The Firebirds answered back in the 73rd minute to force the score to a tie 1-1. The Vikings broke the tie in the 83rd minute to take the win from the Firebirds 2-1.

• In the 56th minute, the Vikings opened up the score 1-0.
• The Firebirds forced the score to 1-1 with a goal by Emma Amberg assisted by Amelia Price.
• In the 83rd minute, the vikings took the lead 2-1.

• Lisa Traxel led the Firebirds in shots with three.
• Ainsley Stallworth recorded three saves on the evening.
• The Firebirds took 11 shots, seven shots on target.
