Men's Soccer Wins Big in Home Opener
KENOSHA, Wis. - The Carthage men's soccer team defeated the Concordia (Wis.) 3-2 on Sunday evening in their home-opener.

The Firebirds got on the board early within the first eight minutes of play, and with a late score by Concordia(Wis.) in the first half, the Firebirds entered halftime tied 1-1.

The Firebirds had back to back shot attempts by Aidan Crowder and Mickey Reilly during the second half.

After tying it up at 2-2 in the 80th minute, a goal from Aidan Crowder assisted by Jethro Yumange gave the Firebirds the lead heading into the final minutes of play.

Carthage held on to win 3-2.
