Coachs Remarks

"MSOE had won seven in a row, so we knew we would see a tough team today playing with a lot of confidence.

Both teams were down some important players today, creating inconsistent play on both sides.

We will take the win against a gritty, well-coached team and try and use it to get better for next week. When MSOE cut the score to three goals, I thought we had some guys step up and play well and get us through the finish line.

A couple great offensive efforts out of Burchfield and Gern. Workman had a gritty effort at the X. Between the five wins and his four caused TOs, he was basically 9 for 11 today."
